    Wow, that is some lens and I thought saving for the 500 was hard... I don't feel so bad now spending so much on a lens.

    The camera disappeared when put on this lens. I wonder what the images are like - would be interesting to see some.

    image quality would probably be very mediocre to horrible when mounted on the latest DSLRs like a D3X with its demanding sensor, its a reflex lens and they are not really known for their high IQ

    That may be so, but give me a lotto win and a mint S3 or SP and I'd so buy it, although then I'd have to try to find the reflex attachment - hmmm... Wonder whether it'd work without it? Composition would be a bugger, but give me enough b&w film to play with and I reckon I could come up with an accessory viewer/eyepiece for the thing.

    so tell me, what the difference between putting your camera on one of those and putting it on a 5-6 inch maksutov telescope? much cheaper option that does the same thing! (unless these auto focus)
