Need repairs Melbourne

Yep,I've gone and dropped the camera(K20),it should not have been that bad concidering it was inside on the carpet,'but',(there's always a but)the flash was attached. .

I live in Melbourne and have never had the need for camera repairs.I can understand the repair method for the flash(pentax 540 fgz),but the camera????,doesn't look good. Recommendations on repair options appreciated.

Look in the camera/lens/gear forum, all the companies, authorized distributors and warranty links are stickied at the top, contact them for repairers the recommend in your area

Thanks Rick, Looks as if C.R. Kennedys is it.

If anyone has had similar damage repaired,I would be interested to know a 'ball park figure' for repairs.

"Just for info post".

The Camera and flash are with C.R.Kennedy at present ,awaiting a new top cover for camera.Repairs will cost $240.00(replace camera top plate and replace flash hotshoe assembly),which I thought wasn't to bad.

Steve, in this day and age that figure sounds an absolute bargain.

Certainly better than the price of replacing both. CR Kennedy have my confidence in repairs and warranty.

C.R Kennedy have been fantastic.My partner and I are off to the U.S in 2 weeks, a 5 week,self drive,West-East coast trip. The K20 is the back-up for the K5, Kennedy are waiting on the K20 top plate......should be fixed in time.
