We were at Fingal Head a few months back, the best place to get the sunrise is on the rock ledge going down to the water so you can get the rock island in frame, but you would only get about 3 tripods in there at most, no where else will really give you that view/shot (Kane did a good photo recently)

A nice area, and we will definately go back sometime, but have committed to both days at the Medieval Festival.

A hot tip for this shoot if you hear a train comimg keep looking out to sea. I was standing about 2 mtrs from the cliff face enjoying the view when I was buzzed by two F1 11 type planes going by at eye level. I could see the pilot he was that close. I was told that they used to try and fly under the radar for training purposes and they had to stay low due to the airport . I think I'll try and make it to this one.
