Excellent! Thanks for the reminder, I'd love to attend that this year - I really want to see the Manchester Unity Building.
    Cheers,

Get there early! I'm involved with MOH and was the site manager for Manchester Unity in 2009. The queues were up to 3 hours.

It's well worth a look though. Beautiful building.

MOH are also looking for volunteers. Do one shift in the morning or afternoon of Saturday or Sunday and get to jump the queues for the rest of the weekend! And attend the after party.

    Volunteer here

There's also a photography competition. Prize for the winner is to shoot the images for the 2012 program.

I emailed MOH about photography to see what their rules if any where, (ie tripods, photography groups etc). Here is their response:

    HI Michael,

We encourage photography through our competition (full details on the web soon) . Please note that some buildings have restrictions and these are noted in the guide and on the web,

    Come along and join in.

    Regards,

    Sue.
So if anyone knows of few good places to shoot, I think we should arrange a meet. Anyone who knows a bit about what is around got any ideas?

Have always wanted to check out MOH. Unfortunately I'm in the year of 30th bdays, so can only attend the Sat during the day (I fear I may have an awful hangover on the Sunday). Will confirm when a meet's organised. I haven't lived in Melb for yrs and so have no clue about what's around

I didn't, I ended up spending all weekend shooting an event and now have hundreds of photos to process!

Hopefully some managed to get along and can share some photos of what I missed out on!
