    Grainy Images

    I have a Canon sx310is, and am having trouble with grainy images, some adivice would be appreciated. (keep in mind I'm a beginner, thanks):

    That 'grain' is called noise. It happens with digital cameras when you shoot with a high ISO setting.

    I'd tend to agree with Kym, but an image or two to illustrate your woe would help nail it and direct our advice.
