    Lightbulb adding golden sunset

I was using CTB to add yellow to the sky, WB to shade. That part's easy enuf. Then I added another CTS to the main light, so the person doesn't look lit with white light.

But I was thinking, mixing CTB and CTS - don't they kinda cancel out each other? Is there a better way to mix gels and WB to enhance a sunset?

Not Sure what a CTS gel is, did you mean CTO ?, CTO and CTB would cancel each other out.

You would need to make a determination of what temperature you wanted the main light at and then use an appropriate gel, maybe in your case a 1/2 CTB may have been the way to go, would cool down the main light, but not back to a white or daylight balance.

I think experimentation is the way to

    CTS is similar to CTO.

I'd like to experiment but my Cactus V5 trigger won't hold my SB flash securely, so I don't dare use it outdoors. It's been really hard trying it indoors
