help Needed

I have a Gaoersi 617 Panoramic camera with Schneider super Angulon lens F8.
I have had some good results from the camera but im of the understanding i need a centre filter to offset the dark edges on the shots.
Can anyone help, yes i know how much they cost, pewwwwwwwwww expensive.
Can anyone tell me what the different filters are, or do they all do the same job>?

You 4-got to tell us what focal length? I suppose you are familiar with this data.
In addition, do a search on "centre filter". There's heaps.
But what do you do with your images? If you scan and digitise them then you should be able to get away with some PP.

OOOOOPS yes sorry iots a 90mm f8 Schneider super Angulon.
I scan and digital file them , and your right in most cases i should be able to fix em up, but i would prefer to get it right on camera, sorry for not putting in the correct info to start with

At 1st I thought 90mm was getting close to a "standard lens" for this camera, but it is in fact about half the frame diagonal, do still wide-ish. Don't know if I can help you much now. But there is a lot on line for centre filters, esp. this info. There's also a wac forum.

You're right. It's a bit of mucking around PP-ing it right. I had a bit of a go using an inverted circular selection almost the width of the picture and feathered 50 pixels.
Below is the best I could get with the 1st. I couldn't easily do much with the 2nd.

With the 90mm lens, I'm not sure that a centre-spot filter is absolutely necessary. I'd make sure I was giving a generous exposure. I have a 47mm lens, where a filter would be essential, but they're beyond the reach of my pocket.

Stan your right they are exy, i think ill just up exposure a tad and see if i can take it from there
