    Advice on what lens?

    I have a Nikon D60

I have recently got into wanting to take photo's at the speedway at nite.
I am in the middle of the field.
I need a lens with faster aperture lower than f4, but I need the zoom and possibly autofocus too.

I haven't got a set budget, but would like to know what lens would be good any brand that would go on the Nikon D60

    thanks

70-200 f2.8 vr or sigma equivalent.

When I go out looking for a new lens, always set yourself a budget.

I would go with (moo)ving and recommend the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR over the Sigma equivelant as the Nikon offers vibration reduction which will allow a slower shutter speed (presumeably combined with panning your shots) and reduce noise from a high ISO setting.

You might want to assess a different body first, d60 is not exactly a high iso king at sport type work

You could upgrade to a d300s or even a d90 with a sigma 70-200 and still have change left compared to getting a 70-200 Nikon
