Really depends on what youre shoot mate, I have one and i really like it for my distance shots. Sometimes i have trouble finding a reason pulling it out, but overall....glad I bought it
great value for the bucks....... I have the 50-500mm Sigma and quite happy with the results..... there is a learning curve using long lens
Thanks for replys I was gonna use it for surf shots ,planes etc.
I have one and it is exellent for surf shots.
Some very early morning shots under extremely harsh lighting...

Olympus Pen F with Metabones Speed Booster and Laowa 12mm f/2.8 or Voigtlander 10.5mm f/0.95 or Nikon D800 with the Laowa 12mm f/2.8. The need to keep in touch with the past is a Nikon Photomic FTn or Nikon F2A and a Nikkor 25-50mm f/4 AI
I have the Nikon mount version.
I dont use it every day, but when I do it justifys the cost (which wasnt all that painfull).
Whilst it works well handheld thanks to the anti vibration feature, I do get much better results when I use a Mono or Tripod.
