    Canon is buying Nikon!!

    Hi All,

News hot of the Presses indicates ... "Canon's Huge corporation is buying out Nikon cash-strapped business. In the biggest news to shake up the industry, Canon Inc is buying the underselling Nikon brand for a very generous price to its shareholders as they have voted that Canon Inc is ultimately the most successful and best brand in the camera Industry and obviously retaining its Number One Holdings in the market today". A source has said.

Nikon had sales of $8 Billion last year, Canon had sales of $34 Billion (remember Canon sells office equipment etc as well). Makes Canikon one big company...hehehe

    As if!

Was your "source" Tomato? Good journalism dictates the clarification of information by at least three sources so I'm bidding on BBQ and Hollandaise as your backup I'm also bidding on Niknon for the new name

Heh. Shame he just missed aligning the text with the date stamp :P. Face it if Canon was that good it wouldn't need to buy Nikon, as everyone would have a Canon. But like males on an adult dating site all they seem to be worried about is buffing up the megapixels. Maybe when they realise its not everything then they'll catch up .

Ir was the only way Canon could figure out how to have dSLRs that have a mirror that doesn't fall out. It will also solve those frequent Err 30 errors.
