    Ausphotography : FOR SALE

After running the site for several years, with the support of the mods team, and of course the members, I am finding it is taking over to much of my time and I do not have the spare time to dedicate to it anymore.

Therefore, regretably, I will be selling the site.

Anyone who is interested in purchasing AP, please feel free to PM me, and I can provide financial details of site income, costs etc. At present, I direct all income back into the site, and would hope that someone will come along who will do the same, rather than make it into a commercially profit making business.

I want to get back to doing more photography, so will be around to assist the new owner(s) and will stay on as a member once settlement is reached.

Looking forward to hearing from prospective new owners. I may be slow replying today, as I will be at work, and can only check the site periodically via my phone.

I will seriously think about buying it. But then I will have to put an annual membership fee in place to cover the purchase price.

I was thinking more along the lines of a yearly fee, 1-2 thousand dollars, plus a direct debit system for every post and reply. I think thats fare.

Rick, you have done a fantastic job running the site since taking over from Craig. I wish well in selling this fantastic site. I believe your vision has been key to the success but I am sure you will assist any potential new owner(s).

Being the Admin of a cichlid forum I fully understand that it becomes all consuming.

This came as quite a shock.

I've always wondered how you seem to have an infinite amount of time for dealing with the place.

It's certainly not something I could do, and it looks like it's reached that point for you too.

All I can say is thanks for your dedication, and I hope you find a mutually satisfactory way forward.

I was away all week and didn't remotely have April Fool's Day on my mind; I guess someone had to be the victim.

I think many of us fell for this over time. When I first saw it I thought, yeah whatever, April Fools... then nothing, no come clean after lunch, or the next day or even the next until now. So it was easy to beleive after this amount of time. Poor darts rick.

    G'day Ricki

What it means Rick is that you have many, many [of us] followers who not only enjoy the site, but revere its creativity and usefulness as well
