    f4 battery grip replacement

    Hey,

I recently got donated an older nikon f4 when i put the word out I wanted a film camera

The only major problem so far... is The innards of the battery housing are a little munched and I'm having a little trouble finding a replacement. To be honest I really don't know where to start as nothing really comes up in google (cant find the right tags)

Is anyone here able to give me some shops around melbourne that would possibly have something in stock? and what would a fair price to pay be?

    Cheers

    Simon

    hey shakes

    try ebay too
if you want a bricks and mortar store, try camera exchange on lonsdale st

failing that, you can give me the f4
    Thanks,

also while on topic.. The bottom section of the battery isnt wanting to come off... Going by manuals online there is a section that you twist and it should release http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography...rce/index3.htm but mine doesnt twist the entire way (gets quite stiff and I'm worried I'll break it) any idea's?

Thanks. I really didnt expect to be able to buy new.

No moto at the moment. sold for "just in case cash" because of the bub (and I got offered wayyy more than it was worth), will have another in under 12 months... wr400 motarded is looking the goods at the moment.

And I only have a road bike (pushi) rocking at the moment

So the few local nikon agents I've called don't have one in stock and dont wanna chase em up for me. Might have to actually physically go in and hassle them.
