    Photomatix and PPI

Hey folks Im messing around a bit with Photomatix Pro and are noticing that some of my images are coming out at 300ppi when viewed in CS4 bridge but other are as low as 72ppi. Does this have something to do with the file format Im saving in? Or is it something else?

    Cheers Dan

Must admit I have not noticed this. It could very well be the save format, I always save as TIF from photomatix, then edit in PS from there.

Can u see the total number of pixels in each program? If that is the same, then it's only how the program displays the image.

Yep, what Am said. The PPI by itself is completely irrelevant. It's only a problem if it's changing the number of pixels in your file.
