    wacom BAMBOO tablet help

    Hi,

Sure, I maybe should ask Wacom, but here goes anyway.

The stylus. It has two ends - obviously.

One end is for drawing and is the main one used. the other end is bigger and supposed to be used for rubbing things out - right?

So if I have Black/White selected as the colours, turning the stylus around would/should reverse the colours - right?

    It doesn't.

I've tried looking in the BAMBOO settings program but there is nothing I can see to define what the other end of the stylus does.

A long time ago I was at someone's place who had a tablet (wacom) and in adobe PS, if you turned the stylus around that is exactly what it would do: Reverese/swap the colours.

    What am I missing?

maybe some settings in your tablet setup? Have a look in Control panel and look at the settings screen for your tablet and adjust if needed.

    Not sure Mr Felix,

My Bamboo eraser works as you suggested it should. (unless you're trying to erase something from a different layer)

    Yeah, I am silly.

Looked at it a bit more.

Opened a new project. White page. Set Black/White.

Set brush to a circle and drew.

    Made a bit black area.

    Turned the stylus around..

Started to draw. Yes, black/white were reveresed, but the size is teeeny weeeeny.

Looked at the tablet's settings (from the desktop I mean) but can't see anything there.

Would there be a setting in adobe somewhere?

I'll look anyway, but it still has me stumped.

    Hi again,

    Thanks for that extra info.

If you are now getting it to erase, but it's "teeny weeny", it may be that the eraser brush size is too small. The brush size is changeable/different for drawing and erasing.

When you flip the stylus, change the "brush/eraser" size with the square brackets [ ] to a larger size.

Worth a try - all I can think of at the moment
