Just wondering if anyone had a crack on their rear LCD screen (the display is fine) and is it a DIY repair? If so, where did you get the replacement glass screen?
Thank you,
Quang

a client of mine smashed his rear LCD screen to bits as carry on luggage on plane, fluid drained out and all. Only costed him $95 bucks to repair from a well known service shop in Adelaide.
Thanks Gents. I found similar post with similar steps to replace the screen. Haven't had much luck finding the parts (screen and die-cut DS adhesive) locally yet. I will call Canon Aus tomorrow. Luckily, mine is just the protective screen, the actual LCD is fine.
hope it's painless experienc for you.
