Shots arent that bad Darren, I think we have all seen worse. Grainy but good colour and certainly looks like you captured the mood/itensity of the concert.

was just having some fun mate ..... its a bit fruitless to strive for technical perfection when youre getting smashed around by a bunch of sweaty teenagers

they came up alright considering the circumstances and the super high ISO I spose.

ps ... I actually think that some noise usually adds to live rock concert photography. Makes them look a bit gritty which is kinda cool.

I'm surprised you could stand there without wanting to punch Scot Weiland in the face, let alone take photos!

Not a bad effort considering the circumstances.

Absolutely mate. Great for stuff like this when the big cameras just arent an option. A little more reach might have been fun ... maybe ill keep my eye out for an 18-200

yes you are right. We are off to see Santana on saturday and I`m thinking about taking the camera....maybe? Probably be a pain carting it and keeping an eye on it.

Yep ... Thats unfortunate. I saw VR in LA in 2007 .... Good gig. Weiland was in good form.
