Dark frames subtraction - I'll actually should post it here rather than PM it. Rather than writing a step by step instr I think I will post links to some decent info that actually describes the process fully.
Just an info on what on earth subtraction is can be found here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_frame_subtraction
Instruction how to do it in photoshop - http://www.takegreatpictures.com/dig...otography/9503

So, use it and abuse it as it does an excellent thing!

I haven't made my feet wet for quite some time so I'm more than keen to get out and get in the water. Just tell me when and where....and then Roosta, you can actually enjoy the sights of me holding my camera, not only taking it out of my bag
Treat my comment not as a critique but more like another point of view and please, share yours on my photos

I reckon we started getting a bit stupid with the lights in the end, maybe another try at it now that you're familiar with the exposure calculations, and do it properly. Good to see what works though, I think the trail down the bottom is a good inclusion.

Thanks for the info Tom, will see how it goes. The shot I posted was with no noise reduction but surprisingly was OK.

You caught some nice colours there Peter...& did you happen to capture a plane in the middle of the sculpture?

I really like #2, good composition....just a shame those cars were parked there!
#3 has some nice colour, I would just prefer to see a little more at the top to add some context to the shot.
Some nice shots though, was good to catch up again

Excellent stuff Peter I like the magnification of that 'sculpture' in #1. It shape and size on that very accurate for its shape sky makes it look great!
#2 has a nice composition! Adjust some sharpening and it will look ab perfect sir
