    Just got the K5 yesterday, still checking it out feels like a solid unit hope to take some pic. this weekend

    No doubt an exciting time over there in the west! It is hard to go back to the K20D once you have handled the K5. Enjoy - I did.

    is the k5 the best camera for the money at the moment?

    i'm tossing up it, the 7d and d7000, at the minute.
    Nikon D90, 18-105mm VR, 70-300mm VRII, 50mm/1.8, SB600

    D7000 is cheaper, K-5 is the same sensor. If you already have Nikon go the D7000

    Edit: Nikon lenses cost more K5 has in body stabilisation
