Being a limited edition will make it appeal to some people.

I've looked at the images and it does not appeal to me. I'm probably a boring old fart, but I still prefer plain black cameras.

    Thanks Kym,

    I like the silver K-5 and will look for 1 when/if I upgrade to a K-5.

I didn't know about the DA limited's were coming out in silver and I like the look but the 15mm and 35mm are the ones I want to get.

The silver K5 looks very old world to me, but then again, I am old!
In the olden days, all cameras were silver with black trim, and it was only in the late 60's that all black cameras started to appear, and were considered to have a "professional" look.
Personally, I think it looks OK in the photos, but i'd like to see it in the flesh.

I bought a K-x in white, so I do like coloured cameras, as long as the colours aren't ridiculous.
I believe that when the K-x was released in Japan, the wild colours they offered over there sold like crazy.
They got lots of colours and colour combinations that we didn't get, thankfully.
Anyone for a pink camera with yellow trims?
All my photos are taken with recycled pixels.
