    Tamron to Canon 40d adaptors

Folks - I have some old Tamron Adaptal series lens and would like some comments on using them on my Canon 40D in particular the use of the electronic to allow at least correct exposures etc -
I know there has been comments on other sites but i am looking for practical user comments on how well they work and which brands are recommended. cheap plastic ebay adaptors dont always give the best results.
Look forward to comments by all.

cheap and plastic is about all you will get. There is no adaptor that will convert the electronics from one format to another for lenses at this time. Basically a plastic or metal adaptor allowing you to attach the lens is all you will get, then it is up to you to set everything manually.
