    Ricoh GXR with M-mount!!

Here's an interesting bit of news today, well at least to me.
It seems Ricoh's lens mount unit's gonna be using the Leica M-mount.

I love the google translation: Renzumauntoyunitto = "lens mount unit"

    LOL! .. I think I already have a Renzumauntoyunitto .. just can't lemeber where I put it!!

Anyhow... I read the headline and immediately thought to myself .. .. isn't that GXR the sensorless camera module that allows for attaching lens/sensor modules?

cool idea.. basically they could do any lens mount type, and use whatever sensor they see fit to use as well.

Hmmm.. judging by the tumbleweeds rolling across my screen, I think its just you and me, AK that's even remotely interested in this bit of news.
For me... wish it was m4/3 mount though but 1.5 crop is better than 2X I guess, generally. No crop's even better!! Maybe a 135 sized sensor with M mount in another 2 yrs or so.
