Firmware updates .

According to the POTN website Canon USA has an updated firmware for the Canon 7D, 1.2.5. It is not posted on the Canon Australia website. Any thoughts on whether or not it should be done? Mine is still on 1.2.2, as I did not think the 1.2.3 had anything of interest for me, and apparently 1.2.4 never was released except that some cameras which were sent to Canon for work came back updated so I have read.

Why in a hurry? I don't own a 7D but have a 500D.

I usually wait for another 3 or 4 weeks whenever I am going to update any firmware - people (especially those in POTN) will discuss about it, praise about it, moan about it and bitch about it in the coming days.... read all the details and then decide to go for it or not
