Ok..... sooo lets pick a day and be done with it.

Sunday 27th 2pm cleveland grand view hotel is my suggestion. or the bearded dragon hotel at tamborine village. Either one we can go for a shoot after.

Once we decide can we add a date to the title of the thread as well ?

Hey Knumnuts - Sunday 27th there is already a "meet" as such - Kiwi is hosting a "Sporting Photography" afternoon
& I think quite a few of the people who have shown interest here are involved (I could be wrong too - guess we will see)

Cleveland is a good hours drive to the sports shoot, so to be there at 1.30 means finishing lunch at 12.30. Not enough time I think.

I can't believe Sunday the 27th is really the only weekend day coming up that I can't do!!

If the date changes I'd love to come...I'll be a nervous newbie too...but everyone sounds like a really friendly bunch of people.

10th April

Choose a venue by vote-
1. Cleveland at Grand View Hotel
2. Bearded Dragon at Tamborine Village (bottom of Mt Tamborine)

or does someone else have an idea ?

What about lunch at everton hotel prior to the sport shoot ? It's 10 minutes to the sport shoot and there's a fair crossover in members for both. Just a thought....they do a good meal and have a great playground for the kiddies.

There is a problem with that idea. If I wanted to bring my wife she would then have to spend the afternoon hanging around while I was shooting sport, not good.

But I too as a novice will always be a little nervous of all the wisdom & my lack of it when I go to such meets..... lol

Ok, so I might start up a meet for April anyhow. what the heck. I would really like to shoot Tambourine, I havent been there for yonks, same with the Grand view.

The 10 of April is looking good for me too I am out of the country from the 16th. It's been a while since I have been to an AP meet. It will be good any place any time is fine.
