    Yep..it is. That's why we do it. Bring in the new members and their families so they feel more comfortable meet us regular members that know each other already. Good chance to break the ice.

    Kane has just have to set the date/place/time.

    Seems there will be a large turnout Kane. It might have to be where we can fit a lot of people. Maybe a park?

    Yeah a park would be better I think Jules.... at least for my lot! can't imagine trying to keep them cooped up for any longer than an hour

    sounds good, just depends on date, time and work for me..... Dam it work.
    i like the sound of the park so i can bring Indy (my pup for them that missed the 4x4 meet)(im sure some one has a pic they will post from that meet) and i can bring the missus if she is free too.

    Just found this. I would also be in on a park meet, so I can bring my muttley along too. He can also assist by being a model for those that bring a camera (probably all of us LOL).

    I'd be interested.... any thoughts yet when?? For me the 26th is out (celebrating my "D" with a party!! & christening my new patio area) But I too am bit on the shy side or is it that I feel inadequate amongst all you talented people???

    Yeah I heard the storm. I was up coughing and sneezing and blowing the snoz all night. Yesterday and still today I feel like crap.

    yea i also have some sort of illness its kinda strange like im not getting any better but im not getting any more sick either, its just annoying

    Storms here are crazy - i live in the cbd - very high up and and the lighting conductor is on the building next to me....when it hits its insane!

    New Farm park is a good idea, but the parking is a nightmare...
    Id suggest somewhere like Mt Cootha, or Rocks Riverside, or some large, unnamed park. But the convenience of a hotel is good for the "catered for" thing

    River Rocks Park went under in the floods, and last I heard they weren't reopening it for some time. What about Queens Park at Ipswich?
