Nikon Capture NX2

Hi All,

I was wanting to try out some of the NIK software, but it said I had to download Capture NX2, which is a Nikon product.. I am using Canon gear...

Is NIK software specifically for Nikon cameras or am I missing something

I think you might have the wrong version of the plugIn. Nik has slightly different versions for each editing software.

The only Nik addon software that works with CaptureNX2 is the Color Efex Pro suite of filters.
This seems to be a very weird position from the company that created CaptureNX2 itself, in not having more addon software to complement the basic progr5am that is NX2.

So it seems that you have inadvertently downloaded or are looking at the CNX2 version of Color Efex Pro 3, where one version is specifically for CNX2 the other I think works on both PSCS and LR(and hence on any camera brand).
