    Speedliters Handbook - Syl Arena

We have all seen the books by Joe McNally based on his love affair with Nikon Flashes.

Well now there is one all about the Canon system
Syl Arena has published The Speedliters Handbook

I have linked direct to the Fishpond page here, as they are a site advertiser, but I am sure other sellers will have it available as well.

I have just ordered my copy

Yes thanks Mark, please let us know what you think after you get it, I just got the Canon 580EX II flash & the manual is typical - not in simple terms for me to learn, also the fact I have never used a flash before...

just found this link with great previews

Finally received the book a few days ago and I have been totally engrossed by it. Finally something about flash/strobe that even I can understand I haven't put it down yet but when I do I am sure that it will be to try some things out Anyway - the book is easy to understand and written in a style completely unlike the Speedlite manual!! Well worth the $ IMO

Yes, got my copy today and I am finding it hard to put down. Very well set out and lots of information - you can read in detail or scan through - it is that well set out I believe. I am determined to get this flash thing under control.

I love books and will be taking this with me to work to read at lunchtime and any other time I have free.

So much to learn in photography land - when do you know it all?
