Glass for New York City weekend...

    All,

I'm heading to the US in a few weeks and will be stopping NYC for a weekend, that will pretty much be my only real photography opportunity... anyway ..

Here is the question. If you where going to NYC what glass would you take with you?

    Cheers.

If I were only going to get a short time to take pics, I would be taking my 24-70 and 70-300.

Having lived there for seven years, I mostly used wide angle or short telephoto lenses. Generally not much over 100mm in the city.

So looking at your gear, you could get by with the 24-70 on it's own, but if you want to take shots of the bridges on the East River at night, or skyline shots from Brooklyn or New Jersey for example, take the 16-35 too.

Have fun, it's a great place!
