    notebook colour issues

    i have a asus notebook and after last reboot all the dark shades come up red and light shades are aqua blue, any ideas if this is a graphics card or a screen issue, many thanks in advance

    Normally artifacts like that appear when the hardware is under unnecessary load such as a fan being blocked by objects or by dust.

    If that's not the case try updating your video card drivers (dont use the windows ones).

    Apart from that if all those steps didn't help and its under warranty that would be my next suggestion.

    many thanks, have updated all drivers and alas the lappy is about 4 years old
