    Cokin Universal adapter ring

looking for some insight. I am going to buy a cokin set up, just wondering, instead of buying an adapter ring for all my lens thread sizes, is it possible to just buy the Universal adapter ring and use on all my lenses? I'm just thinking, 1 universal @ $50 is better the 3 or 4+ @ $30 each.

I know I can get the universal ring, but the description says to fit all non standard thread sizes. I'm presuming I can also use it for standard thread sizes??

I would think it will, but it would be best if you could test one before buying.

Rethink the pricing of the rings, we use the knock off items from ebay at about $4.00 each delivered. They work just fine.
