    Rob,
    I highly value Thom's reviews. They can be pretty tough going but I enjoy an article that forces you to think hard to follow the argument's he advances. You know he is doing his reviews warts and all and he is incredibly thorough.

    Good review, I definitely think the D7000 will be a worthwhile pickup in a few months once supply catches up with demand.

    Thom Hogan is a very good writer.

    I've bought his complete guide to the D300s and, apart from some of the technical stuff about how sensors work, etc (I just accept that they do),

    It's very detailed and makes me enjoy the Engrish jokes and cartoons, that I download from the Skewed Humour newsgroup, when I read Nikon's poor attempt to explain in plain english.
