A good intro indeed. I use it often, but there are some limitations particularly when speedlights are not in line of sight of the SU-800 or onboard flash, like doing RE stuff, and emulating window light from outside. I didn't ever want to spend the $$ or have the hassle of radio triggers, but find that they have become necessary in some situations and now with the new PW TT1 and Flex5 for Nikon, HSS is with us which makes them far more worthwhile for your $$.
