Nikkon Cool Pic 100 Camera

Hi Guys,

I am considering purchasing this camera and just wanted to get some oppions on it before i make a decison. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Firstly I am guessing you mean the Nikon Cool Pix P100?

You don't tell us what you intend to use this camera for? Will it be your primary camera, or backup?

The P100 is referred to as a super-zoom cause it has a 26-678mm lens. These lenses tend to be not the sharpest at times due to the physics behind lens design, but they can produce great shots in the right hands. It also had a battery life of 250 shots. So I would be considering getting a couple of spare batteries. dpreview have a review of this camera, that gives you an overall idea of how it performs, it is here

It may turn out to be my primary camera, but at this stage probably just a back up. .
