I was googling and found this amazing bit of information!

You can program your TI-83 graphics calculator and plug it into your camera to use as an intervalometer.

What this means....
Many people own a graphics calculator from high school, you can write programs in them to do many tasks.
They come with a link cable, a 2.5mm, the same one that goes into cameras such as my Canon 60D.
So with this program, i can plug the calculator into my camera and program it to take any given number of shots at given time intervals.

I tested this last night and today creating some cool time lapse videos. Cant wait for a lightning storm to set this up and shoot continuously.
