Well, I think she pointed something that is important:
If the client cannot distinguish between an amateur and professional photograph then he won’t be willing to pay for the professional work.
And he pointed something important as well:
If the person can generate professional photographs (but randomly), would you risk hiring him for a one-time event (like your weeding)?
I take photographs and I enlarge them but I have hired professional services (one as a wedding gift).
So as pointed in another similar thread regarding professional photographers: good work (Art) speaks by itself.
Again, Very interesting topic for us who loves photograph.

It does make a good point..... Shoot with a BB gun, it's better than a Canon.
