    Question De Humidification Equipment

    does anyone use a dehumidifying cabinet? we live in a humid area and don't want the lens' getting mouldy.

    I have looked into them. Dry boxes seem to run in at 200 bucks +
    Instead, my house had a massive mould problem when we moved in, so after bleaching out the mould, I purchased a dehumidifier to dehumidify the whole house. Does a great job, seems to squeeze about 6 litres of water out of the air over about 12-14 hours each day. Asides from that, I just keep silica gel packets in my bag and dry those out periodically just to be sure.

    Yes, I have and use one that I purchased from European Camera Store, IIRC, about 5 years ago. I think the brand is "Wonderful" - you gotta love those Chinese names!
