Best Jpeg settings of Canon 50D

When traveling I stick to jpeg as I find it hard enough to sort through those let alone adjusting raw files. However, I find most of the time the images to need some post adjustment in terms of sharpening. I don't want to keep flipping jpeg settings from one mode to another ie landscape to portrait or neutral or whatever. What have others set their sharpening and other settings to to get a good general solution to minimise post sharpening/ adjustment?

Standard and Landscape are both good settings. Landscape has about one notch of sharpness enhancement from the Standard, but generally behave the same.
Press the "INFO" button after pressing the button to it's right to see the detail settings.
