    advice for a portret lens?

    hi guys im looking for a new lens for my sony A350... what ill be using it for is portret work and wedings... the other photography i get up to is photographing cars and motorbikes...

    but this lens is manly for the portret work so whats the best stile of lens i should be looking at? im hoping to keep the price under $1000 but i can go up to around the $1500 if i must

    the best bang for your buck is a prime lens, because you have a C size sensor a 50mm lens is equivalent to a 75mm full frame (perfect for portrait), and you'll pick up a F1.4 for around half your budget

    thx guys i might all in to the shops and see what they have avalible. im a bit unshour anout ordering stuff online
