    Spider Webs

Could anyone help me with the best way to photograph spider webs. I have trouble making them stand out.
    Thanks

    Hi Graeme,

I agree it's very difficult. I've attached a couple of attempts for you to have a squiz at. Basically I was lucky enough to get some "backlighting". Someone with more experience will be able to provide some better guidance I'm sure!

if you want some drops of light on them, take a spray bottle and spray a fine mist of water over the web. Also, try to shoot against a darker or contrasting background. If you are able, use a flash and get it off the camera, off to one side - underexpose the background and let the flash only light the web.
