I have not posted for sometime as I am presently on holiday in the UK. Where I have visited Kilkenny in Ireland, York in England. Presently in London.

I have been taking some photos, not as many as I would have like - Too much rain. Hopefully I will be able to salvage some good ones.

I have an infrared remote . Not sure how to set the use of this with my Nikon D700. Be grateful if somebody would explain how to set this up through the camera's menus.

Also best practice for it to fire. That is position for me when taking a photo for the remote to register

Sue, the infra red remote DOES NOT work with the D700.

It was only ever made for the D50 - 80 series.
