    Sunday strolling and the D50

Today we had some pretty good weather considering all the rain and wind lately . I took a walk around the farm , returned along a different route to the usual and snapped a shot with my Casio FH100 .

Then I decided to take out the old D50 with the 85mm 1.8 lens and head for the rapids , about 2 minutes walk from my place .

I took most of the pictures at F1.8 .

The last shot was taken at F8 as I walked back home ....

Here's another version of your photo after I played with it in Elements 2. Not necessarily "better", just different.

This is in the 'not for critique' section so I'm not sure why you'd do a revised version of one of his pics. All you have done is adjusted levels (well, the effect you have gained could have been achieved using levels alone, anyway). Whilst it is probably a more colour accurate rendition, albeit a tad on the blue side, I think it has taken away from the atmospher of the shot.

Now back on topic, Desmond those panos are pretty sweet from a Casio, well done

Thanks , it was my first attempt at a pano on PSE7 - the FH100 has everything but a pano mode
