    D700 cf card recommendation's

I was wondering if people have any recommendations on what is the best cf card for sports in a D700 .(i have on order a d700 with a 16-35mm f4 from one of the sites sponsor's with a price just above what you pay for a d700 in aust so even if i get hit with custom $$ i wont mind to much)

Is there a cf speed which if you go above that the camera wont write to it any faster and thus over kill.... and like wise a speed which is to slow

I have a couple of Scan disk Ultra 2 cf cards with 15 mb/s on them (only 4 , 2 , and 1 gb) for my old d70 and have seen Scan disk make cf cards with speeds up to 90mbs (but they look like they cost a arm and a leg for a 60gb card)

The speed notated on cards is based on their read speed, not the write speed. Your cards will work just fine. You will only notice an issue if you shoot at 8fps etc, and then it's the internal memory buffer in your camera that fills up and cannot transfer to the cf card fast enough
