    Help advice 500D 550D

I am about to go out tomorrow to finally buy my new camera. What is the difference between the 500D & the 550D? I am not a professional but have used digital cameras for a while.

If it is nothing too major I will settle on the 500D. Of course if it is I will just have to wait a little longer.

Please let me know ASAP please. Thank you so much

I have had my 500D for a few weeks now and am finding it very good to use. It is my first DSLR. It came with 2 kits lenses. It is small and light weight.

I bought mine off ebay second hand and it was only 2 months old, so was as new.
It is a big step up from my old little kodak camera, but I am enjoying playing around with the settings.

    Congrats on the purchase.
You asked for a comparative table for the 500D and 550D:

I went down the same path for my purchase before I went overseas for my wife's sister's wedding. I couldn't justify the price difference for mainly better video. Compared to the small differences in the photo area.

I am loving it, only have the 18-55mm kit lens though hehe.
