    wobbly d90 videos be gone!~

i have been doing some research on the d90 wobbly video effect and came across a very interesting plugin for the program virtualdub. I have had virtualdub for quite some time as i used to use it in processing avi files for astrophotography.
the pluging is called deshaker and looks to be worthwile for removing the well documented wobbles cause caused by fame skew as the camera moves around.

if you have a d90 or other camera that has this effect when shooting then this could very well help you.

    here is the deshaker

    and here is virtualdub

    both are quite free.
I have seen samples and it seems to do quite a good job

There seem to be a "sweet spot" for the jello effect, a certain way of panning. Even on a tripod, a passing truck would have a slanted caboose, much like in a cartoon.
But I noticed when in extreme movement, the jello effect seems to be negligible, as in this video of me chasing these birds...
