    Canon 5D grip bargain

Yesterday I walked into JB HiFi in Westfield-Bondi Junction and noticed an original Canon grip for the 5D for $149 (last one - marked down from $449). I have the 5DII so had to let it pass..... But if you have a 5D (MkI) and can get there fast.....

Now that does sound like a bargain. If I had a 5D I wouldn't hesitate, that's for sure.

I am pretty sure they don't... Maybe find a buddy in Sydney to pick it up for you. Even with $15 for postage it is still dead cheap.

Exactly the reason why I did not get a cheap one yet.

    Aftermarket 5D MkII battery grips

I have now had my aftermarket grip for about 6 months with no issues although the batteries were not recognised but for the price you can't knock them. even if it failed I could still buy three more before I reach the overpriced Canon branded grip.

Should have bought it and re-sold it for a $ or 2.
