Alternative on CPL filter for Cokin Z-Pro

    Hi all,

Just wondering if there're any alternative on CPL filter for Cokin Z-Pro holder?

(don't want a screw on one)

The 105mm polarizers like the Lee linked earlier are designed to screw onto a circular 105mm ring which is attached to the front of your holder. A variety of brands make polarizers in this size - lee, b+w, heliopan. Vignetting can be a problem at wide angles as the adapter ring and filter will stick out pretty far.

The second option is to buy a sprocket polarizer that slides into one of the filter slots and can be rotated. Cokin make one themselves (z164) and singh ray have recently started making their warming polarizer in this mount. Problem is this option is very expensive (around $400USD for the filter)

If I want to use a polarizer with grads, I'll use a normal screw-in and handhold the grads.

Yeah I had sus out the Cokin option. But $300 for a piece of glass sticks on a metal ring seems pretty expensive. And with the amount of the P series knock off floating on ebay, I cannot believe there isn't one for the Z-pro!
