Hey Gordon, good to see you here.
I am using B&W Kasseman Circular Polarizers on mine and they work brilliantly. Got 'em from eekbay from some place in Hong Kong and yes they are geniune.

I use a Marumi Pro CPL on my 70-200. It's thin and works well. Another brand to keep your eye out for. At least equal to all the Hoya filters I've owned for quality.
I would pay the extra over the pro1 and get the hd. i have both and the hd is much easier to clean and more scratch resistant. but b+w are top shelf too. not heard of marumi so cant comment there. the prices are quite steep that you listed, I've def seen them cheaper than that, so maybe try searching around a bit more

Site advertiser http://www.qualitycamera.com.au/ sell Hoya CP filters and are in WA and have a good price on the Pro 1
Father's day is a wonderful thing! The Minister for Finance has tracked down the B+W Kasseman CPL and it's on it's way.
the kaesseman b+w's are more for humid climates, but if you've got the cash, then go for it.....they are the duck's guts, along with heliopan filters. if you do buy on ebay, there is a high chance that you are getting a fake, even if it is from a so called ruputed dealer like 'digitalrev' or 'hkbns'
THIS one on ebay from Scott at Mainline is most certainly geunuine.
i'd recommend using b+w cpl filters especially if you'll be using it on an uwa lens as well. Hoya HD is also good. Those cheap cpl filters can't cover the entire frame of an uwa. Also, look for the slim type for uwa and the biggest filter size of your lens.

Be careful of the Feebay fakes. I have bought a number of B+W filters inc a kaessman slim CPL from a US Ebay seller, and they are genuine without doubt. Always cheaper than mainline by some margin when the AUD$ is good, and that is after shipping.
I went to B @ W for my CPL and NDs, top shelf quality and very reliable. For the money you are paying more for the Hoya stuff than what I got my B+W CPL for on fleabay. Have a good look around for the B and W versions before you spend 200 plus on a Hoya would be my opinion.
