    Ilford XP2 Super 400 B&W scan

    Hi all.
I finished off a roll of this film and got the negatives scanned.
Unfortunately the scans turned out very grainy, yet prints turned out perfectly.
The shop owner - quite an experienced fellow - said XP2, being a C41 rather than true B&W - often scans poorly.
I've attached one of the scans.
    Anyone else experienced this?

i've not used the c41 b&w films, but check out the Figital Revolution site to see his results. He raves about the film, and he's an all hybrid workflow.
