Well, I'm finally getting my new toys: a Canon 1D MKIV, 70-200/2.8 USL L II, 400/2.8 and a Gitzo GM2541 monopod. Bought a 7D last week to replace the 40D which has had its IR filter removed by Camera Clinc in Melb. and replaced with a Full Spectrum filter which covers 240Nm to 1100Nm (UV to Infrared). The 40D camera will be used for special affects and astro-photography. Yeehhaaa..
As for the glass what more can be said about the 400/2. (for newspaper and sport) and the zoom for whatever passes in front of it.
