what do you like to photograph? It helps to be doing something that interests you. No use trying macro photography if landscapes is your 'thing', or landscapes if your interest lies in glamour work. Tell us a bit about what you want to get from photography, what interests you the most etc, and then we can help guide you.

Constructive Critique of my photographs is always appreciated

You could also check out the 1 thing, 2 days challenge that runs in the members challenges section. When I first got my camera 3 months ago I had no idea what to take photo's of, apart from my children, so joining in on this challenge made me look at everyday objects in a new light and gave me something to focus on. Also looking at all the other photo's that people post can give you ideas and you might see something that you also want to try.

Maybe have a look at the New to Photography forum and the Learning Plan.

Use the plan as a way to get ideas. Very simple things like using Depth of Field or panning etc.
