    "End of 1Dmk IV"

    Came across this Photo from a friend of the "1Dmk V", Wondering if anyone knows about the specs of this new version from Canon
    Canon : 30D, and sometimes the 5D mkIII , Sigma 10-20, 50mm 1.8, Canon 24-105 f4 L , On loan Sigma 120-400 DG and Canon 17 - 40 f4 L , Cokin Filters

    That's the Canon EOS-1V. It's a film SLR, and was introduced in 2000.

    Canon Australia seems to have removed the (few) FSLRs it had on its site. I hadn't looked for them for a while, but they were there before the current site redesign.

    David,

    It's not dodgy; that's how that camera is.

    What's important is that it's a legitimate ten-year-old film SLR and not a digital model, or anything which signals the end of any current digital models in the 1-series.
